At the beginning of 2024, Asana held its 2-day annual sales meeting, where sales teams set goals for the new year. This year’s event took place in Orlando, FL, with over 700 sales professionals and thought leaders from around the world in attendance. Our team was tasked with creating the event’s visual identity and developing the design across all elements, including motion graphics, wayfinding, and activations.
The theme

The goal of SKO 2023 is to set big goals, cultivate the grit to achieve them, and energize the company to "Win Big."

Branding

As a first step, we established the overall look and feel of the event identity and how the graphic elements would come to life through animation. We utilized various weights of the "Obviously" font to create effects of contraction, expansion, and space occupation. These dynamic visuals embody movement, agility, and speed, capturing the energy and big moments of the theme. Additionally, we used the Gordita font as a supporting typeface for its academic and technical feel.

Animation

Incorporating the design treatment with the Asana’s brand iconic celebration creatures for different celebration moments in motion, the concept created a cohesive visual thread for all branded elements to work under.

The design system was prominently featured alongside each speaker. Every presentation used fully designed slides that adhered to the same system. In between sessions, our playful animated designs took over the stage.

The kinetic and evolving motif naturally translated into the event space's primary wayfinding system. The concept of growth and expansion was embodied in a series of stackable flags, featuring  patterns, welcome signs, and logos.
